Accessible rooms

There are four, purpose built rooms for people who have a disability and require improved access and facilities. Each room is large enough to allow attendants to sleep within the same room. Two rooms are located within Franklin Barracks and have en-suite bathrooms, two are located in the separate Nautilus Centre and have en-suite rooms across a hall.

Sharing the site

The Portsea camp is a 7 acre site with vast views across 180 degrees. There is plenty of physical space and a great sense of openness to ensure that large groups can enjoy the site without feeling cramped while small groups can appreciate their own discrete areas of the site. Occasionally in winter small groups will have the site to themselves. Typically we will discuss arrangements for sharing communal areas, notably Winwood Hall for meals, with smaller group bookings.
