Nautilus center The seadragon room is a large, carpeted, north facing sunroom with pitched ceiling and superb bay views. Capable of seating up to 120 people. Small kitchen / servery with microwave (no stove). Wide verandas and direct access to the gardens and BBQ area. Seahorse meeting room - seating 20 people (can be increased to three such rooms with alternative furniture arrangement). Heated. First Aid room A well stocked, purpose built first-aid room in the Nautilus Center. Ward and first aid staff quarters Flinders Recreation Room A large hall in the Franklin Barracks area of the camp. Capable of seating approximately 120 people, the hall has an open fire place and is a useful wet weather area, having timber floors and few furnishings. Three table tennis tables. Open fire heating. Art room and veranda Tables and chairs for 27 people inside and similar outside under a wide verandah with bay views. Not heated. Fort Franklin Built in the 1870's, Fort Franklin remains are part of the fortifications network (including the gunneries at Point Nepean, South Channel Fort and Queenscliff) constructed to defend Melbourne from possible Russian invasion. Camp staff can provide more information on this Heritage listed, camp asset Observation bunker Built in the 1940's into the hillside on the lawns of the Bayside units, the bunker is under transformation into a camp museum. Laundry Well equipped laundry. Charges apply. Available equipment 80 and 68 cm televisions / VCRs / DVDs / Data Projector with 4m * 2.4m screen and range of movies. Whiteboards, overhead projectors, fax, copier, internet access can be organised.
