The Portsea Camp


Stephen Eastop – Chief Executive Officer

Stephen has been at the helm since 1997 after a background managing regional and statewide disability and community services. His calm, quiet and friendly approach is well received by children and adults alike. During our charity camps you will often find him sitting cross legged on the floor of his office with a group of children mediating problems or simply getting to know some of the children who are feeling homesick or a little isolated.

Jill Sands – Children’s Camp Coordinator

Jill is the first point of contact for parents / guardians wanting to book children into camps. Jill works on a part-time basis, 3-days / week. Jill will be getting out and about throughout Victoria meeting local area organisers and looking to further develop these mission statement camps.

Di De Corrado  – Operations Manager

Di is the first point of contact for all schools and groups wanting to make a booking on weekends or during school terms.

Melissa Bool – Recreation Coordinator

Mel is the first point of contact for all schools and groups requiring recreation activities.

Lou Dickson – Recreation Coordinator 2IC

Lou is Mel’s right hand girl, assisting schools and groups requiring recreation activities.

Jack Fanta – Catering Manager

Jack is the camps catering manager and is well known for his amazing camp food. Nothing is too hard for Jack and his kitchen team, always bending over backwards to help with any tricky dietary requirement or food allergy.

Debbie Quigley – Finance Officer

Debbie is the camps accounts person and works 4 days a week.

Joe Foeger – Maintenance Officer

Joe who works full time and has a great range of trade skills that have enabled significant improvements to the built environment.

Carla Kuradczyk – Head of Housekeeping

Carla looks after the cleaning crew that work tirelessly to keep the site clean.
